Terms of Service

1. Who we are

PrintEZ is operated by Printez, a sole proprietorship of Subash Saajan, with its registered office at V12/450, Opposite to Apollo Pharmacy, Bus Stand Road Street, Vadakkankulam, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu 627116, India (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person using PrintEZ. By uploading a document, placing an order or using a shop account, you agree to these terms.

2. What PrintEZ is

PrintEZ is an online platform that connects customers with independent print shops (“partner shops”). A customer scans the QR code displayed at a partner shop, uploads a document, chooses print options and pays. The partner shop prints the document and hands it to the customer at its counter.

• The partner shop is the seller. The printing service is provided by the partner shop, and the contract for that service is between you and the shop. We do not print documents, own the printers or employ the shops.
• The partner shop sets the price. Each shop decides its own prices on PrintEZ. These may differ from the prices the shop charges at its counter for walk-in work.
• We act for the shop in a limited way. The shop appoints us to show its prices, receive your document and pass it to its printer, and receive your payment on its behalf. When you pay through PrintEZ, you have paid the shop in full for that order.

3. Placing an order

• You do not need an account. Scanning the shop's QR code opens the order page.
• You can upload PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), JPG and PNG files of up to 20 MB each.
• Before you pay, you see a preview, the number of pages, your options and the total price. The price is worked out from the page count and options you confirm, so please check them. The order is placed only when your payment succeeds.

• You may use PrintEZ if you are able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

4. Prices and payment

• The price shown before you pay is the full price of the order, inclusive of any applicable taxes.
• PrintEZ does not add any convenience, service or platform fee to what you pay.
• Payments are made by UPI and processed by our payment service provider, Zoho Payments (Zoho Payment Technologies Private Limited). We never see or store your UPI PIN, bank login or card details.
• Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. What you may not upload

You must own, or have permission to print, every document you upload. You must not upload or print anything that:

• is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to copy, including copyrighted books or material copied without permission;
• is a forged or counterfeit document, such as a fake identity card, certificate, marksheet, stamp paper or currency;
• is obscene or pornographic, or sexually exploits children in any way;
• defames, harasses or threatens anyone, or invades another person's privacy;
• promotes violence, or hatred based on religion, caste, race, gender or any other ground;
• impersonates another person or organisation;
• contains viruses or other harmful code.

A partner shop may refuse to print any document it believes breaks these rules, and in that case you get a refund. We may refuse or remove such content, suspend access to the service, and report it to the authorities where the law requires.

6. Your documents

Your documents remain yours. You give us and the partner shop permission to store, process and print them only to complete your order. Our systems read a file automatically to count its pages and, for Word and PowerPoint files, to make a preview. Files are deleted automatically soon after printing, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Terms for partner shops

These terms apply to partner shops in addition to the written partner agreement signed with each shop. If the two differ, the partner agreement applies.

• The shop sets its own prices on PrintEZ, can change them at any time, and is responsible for keeping them correct.
• The shop prints paid orders promptly and with reasonable quality, and hands the prints only to the customer who placed the order.
• The shop must not keep, copy, share or read customers' documents beyond what is needed to print them.
• PrintEZ charges the shop a commission on each paid order, at the rate agreed in writing before the shop goes live. The commission is deducted before payout. There is no joining fee and no monthly fee.
• We pay the shop the amount collected for its orders, less the commission and any refunds, by bank transfer to its registered bank account, normally every day, once the payment has reached us from our payment service provider.
• The shop keeps its Shop ID and PIN confidential and is responsible for everything done through its account and on the computer running the PrintEZ printing program. That program may be used only to take PrintEZ orders.
• We may suspend a shop that breaks these terms, for example by repeatedly failing to print paid orders.

8. Availability of the service

We work to keep PrintEZ available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, internet or power failures, or problems at a shop. If a paid order cannot be printed for any such reason, you get a refund.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as a missed deadline. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

10. Intellectual property

The PrintEZ name, website and software belong to Printez. You may not copy, modify or resell them without our written permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Partner shops are told of material changes in advance. Using PrintEZ after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, the courts at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
